Here’s our latest news – we’re very excited to be involved with this great project, so thanks to Sally and Beci at Hornsea School & Language College in East Yorkshire;
Ethical Hull company Bio-D has been invited to participate in Hornsea School & Language College’s second Green Britain Day Conference on 11th May.
The school’s Community Partnership Coordinator Sally Richardson contacted the Sutton Fields business after reading about Bio-D’s success in achieving the ISO 14001 environmental accreditation last year.
Commenting about the Green day, Sally said; “Further to the success of last year’s event, we have decided to open up the conference and will be welcoming over 240 pupils from Hornsea and six visiting schools, including one from Germany.
It promises to be an interesting and engaging day that promotes environmental responsibility and we have secured keynote speakers including local MP Graham Stuart and Steve Clarke from SMartWind.”
Bio-D will be delivering three interactive workshops to the pupils about the importance of respecting the environment and will feature a creative competition for pupils to win i-Tunes vouchers.
Bio-D Sales and Marketing Director Sara Holtby is delighted to support the initiative and said; “It’s crucial that people appreciate that we all have a role to play in safeguarding the environment for future generations and we hope that the pupils will find the workshops thought provoking and enjoyable.”
